District School Board of Niagara

“Fortinet SD-WAN appliances and SD-WAN architecture with AI and machine learning capabilities allows our staff with limited security cycles, to manage the system effectively.”

Steve Klimczuk, Chief Technology Officer, District School Board of Niagara

The District School Board of Niagara is a K-12 public school district in Ontario, Canada.  DSBN operates 79 elementary schools and 20 secondary schools in the 12 municipalities of the Niagara Region of Canada, serving over 36,000 students each year.

DSBN needed to provide their small security teams with the proper tools to secure the school board’s sprawled network and prevent inside and outside threats. DSBN’s top priority is to ensure students have access to safe Wi-Fi and the technology resources they need to receive the best education. Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN solutions provide DSBN with end-to-end network protection at an affordable cost, allowing them to redirect funds to other innovative educational programs.
