올해 포티넷은 포티넷은 ▲보안-중심 네트워크(Security-Driven Networking), ▲다이나믹 클라우드(Dynamic Cloud), ▲제로-트러스트 네트워크 액세스(Zero-Trust Network Access), ▲AI 중심 보안 관제(AI-Driven Security Operation) 이라는 4대 주력 솔루션을 기반으로 국내 네트워크 보안 시장 공략을 강화할 계획이다. 이 4대 필러는 올해 보안 시장에서 가장 중요하게 다뤄질 4가지 주요 보안 이슈로, 포티넷은 포괄적인 보안 포트폴리오를 완비하여 국내 고객들에게 전방위적인 인텔리전스 및 보안 전략을 제시한다는 방침이다.
지난해 포티넷은 업계 선두의 SOAR(보안 오케스트레이션ㆍ자동화ㆍ대응) 플랫폼 제공업체인 사이버스폰스(CyberSponse) 인수를 완료하고, 구글 클라우드(Google Cloud), 아마존 웹 서비스(AWS), 지멘스(Siemens) 등의 글로벌 선두업체들과 협업을 통해 보안 시장에서의 보폭을 넓히며 전년 대비 20% 매출 성장(본사 기준)을 기록한 바 있다. 지난해, 포티넷코리아는 주요 대기업 및 금융기관, 하이테크산업, 중소기업 부문에서 신규 고객을 대거 영입함으로써 전년 대비 32% 성장을 이룩했으며, 2019년 1분기 조사 결과 차세대 방화벽 시장부문 시장점유율 1위 업체로 평가받기도 했다.
올해 포티넷코리아는 공공, 의료, 교육 등의 분야를 중심으로 전년 대비 25%의 매출 성장을 이룩한다는 계획이다. 특히, 보안 수요가 높은 공공시장(정부기관, 교육기관, 의료기관)의 경우 전년대비 100% 성장, 상위 10대 대기업 시장에서는 50% 성장을 목표로 영업을 대폭 강화할 계획이다. 이를 위해 내부적으로 신규기술 지원을 위한 엔지니어 및 마케팅 인력을 보강하는 등 조직경쟁력을 높이고, 포티가드(FortiGuard)를 활용한 보안 인텔리전스 강화 및 주요 고객사의 기술지원을 위한 프리미엄 서비스를 확대할 계획이다. 또한, 4대 주력 솔루션을 기반으로 산업별로 최적화된 구축사례를 통해 실제적인 활용 방안을 제시하는 산업별, 지역별 세미나를 개최하여 고객과의 접점을 늘려갈 예정이다.
또한, 포티넷코리아는 지난해 10월, 국내 최초로 OT(운영기술, Operational Technology) 보안에 대한 시연이 가능한 데모 센터 ‘포티넷 고객 브리핑 센터(Customer Briefing Center)’를 개관한 바 있다. 개관 이후 고객들의 높은 호응 속에 대규모 제조업체 및 OT 관련 업체들이 대거 방문해 심도 깊은 논의들이 진행되고 있으며, 올해는 괄목할 만한 성과를 거둘 것으로 기대하고 있다.
