Fortinet’s Krissy Kelley, Jennifer McDonald and Michelle Patterson Named to 2015 CRN Women of the Channel List

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 3, 2015 – Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), the global leader in high-performance cyber security solutions, today announced that three of its channel marketing leaders: Krissy Kelley, senior director of Partner Programs, Jennifer McDonald, director of Partner Marketing and Michelle Patterson, director of Field and Channel Marketing, have been named to The Channel Company’s prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, solution providers and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.

This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel.

Krissy Kelley was also honored as one of the Power 100, a distinguished subset of the CRN Women of the Channel that recognizes female leaders with an exemplary record of success and high-level in the channel. Krissy is dedicated to increasing partner engagement and to each partners’ experience in the various Fortinet partner programs. She is focused on providing partners with the tools and resources they need to effectively sell the Fortinet’s story to customers and prospects.

Jennifer McDonald is responsible for curating an integrated and creative approach to channel marketing at Fortinet. After joining Fortinet in late 2014, Jennifer launched a set of new partner demand generation programs for Fortinet that have seen early success, and have received a wealth of positive feedback from partners. She has taken partner engagement to the next level with the Fortinet value proposition that better equips partners to share their Fortinet story through their own voices.

As the Director of Field and Channel Marketing, Michelle Patterson is also working to expand the Fortinet national partner base, concentrating on targeted regional partners to build a sales pipeline with a more strategic focus. Michelle’s passion for driving awareness of the Fortinet brand and deep commitment to the company’s success in the channel is what makes her, and all of the Women of the Channel award recipients, a critical asset to Fortinet and its partners.

“These executives have made a lasting mark on the industry, expanding the breadth of influence in the technology channel,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and celebrate their innovative contributions and commitment to the IT channel community.”

“We are proud to have three members of the Fortinet family recognized as exceptional Women of the Channel,” said Pete Brant, senior vice president of Americas sales at Fortinet. “We appreciate the unique perspective that all three women bring to the company and the strong leadership skills with which they guide their teams. Fortinet and our partners are grateful for their contributions to the business, and look forward to their continued success.”
