Actual performance values may vary depending on the network traffic and system configuration. Performance metrics were observed using a Dell PowerEdge R710 server (2x Intel Xeon E5504 2.0 GHz 4 MB Cache) running VMware ESXi 5.5 with 4 GB of vRAM assigned to the 4 vCPU and 8 vCPU FortiWeb Virtual Appliance and 4 GB of vRAM assigned to the 2 vCPU FortiWeb Virtual Appliance.

FortiWeb is available in all major public cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle, and Google.  Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure are supported for both BYOL (bring your own license) and On-demand (pay-as-you go). Les WAF FortiWeb proposent des fonctionnalités évoluées qui protègent vos applications web et vos API contre les menaces connues et zero-day. En déployant une sécurité multi-couche, FortiWeb permet de lutter contre les menaces, dont celles du Top 10 OWASP. Le Machine Learning de FortiWeb personnalise la protection de chaque application et propose une sécurité robuste. Contrairement à nombre de WAF du marché, l'utilisateur est libéré des tâches manuelles de paramétrage. Cet apprentissage (Machine Learning) permet à FortiWeb d'identifier toute anomalie comportementale, mais également de différencier les anomalies bénignes et malveillantes. Cette solution offre une fonction de neutralisation des bots: seuls ceux légitimes (moteur de recherche par exemple) sont autorisés, bloquant l’activité des bots malvaillants.
