Le Biscuit is a long-standing, diversified retailer with 150 stores in Brazil. Smooth logistics and the optimal networking and security that go along with it were challenges the company needed to solve. And with its entrance into ecommerce, it had more exposure to threats. With no centralized management or monitoring of its network, Le Biscuit was operating blindly. In addition, the company needed to strengthen the security and communication stability between its stores and data centers.
The retailer began its infrastructure upgrade by enabling FortiGate Secure SD-WAN. This provided more resilient connectivity among its locations. To improve LAN connectivity in its critical distribution center operations, it deployed FortiAP access points, FortiSwitch devices, and additional antennas. The resulting deployment has led to increased sales enabled by high availability and more secure networking. Le Biscuit can now also monitor its network infrastructure from a single location, allowing it to reduce risks and be more proactive in security management.
