Fortinet Wins at SC Awards Europe 2014

SUNNYVALE, Calif., 30th April 2014 - Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) - a world leader in high-performance network security – today announced that its FortiGate-200D was among the winners at the prestigious SC Awards Europe 2014. The awards were presented at the exclusive SC Magazine Awards dinner, held at the Grosvenor House in London on 29th April 2014.

A panel of industry judges from the highest levels of the information security profession reviewed the various solutions submitted for this year’s awards. The FortiGate-200D was acknowledged for its high levels of performance, comprehensive threat protection and deployment flexibility. By integrating Ethernet switching into the FortiGate-200D, Fortinet has extended the definition of UTM and reduced equipment and operational costs. In marked contrast to its competitors, the addition of an integrated Wi-Fi controller within the operating system of this product successfully addresses the increasingly sophisticated networking requirements of distributed enterprises and branch outlets.

“It’s a huge honor to be recognised by the SC Magazine judges once again,” said Patrice Perche, vice president international sales and support for Fortinet. “Our solution suite has been designed to provide enterprises with broad, integrated and high-performance protection against dynamic security threats while simplifying the IT security infrastructure. With our flagship FortiGate range, we are leading innovation in information security technologies. We will continue to focus on providing robust solutions that give our customers the power to secure and control their network infrastructure.”
