Fortinet Appoints Country Manager for South Korea
SUNNYVALE, Calif., September 16, 2014 – Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) – a global leader in high-performance network security – today announced the appointment of industry veteran Henry (Hyeonje) Cho as country manager for South Korea. Mr. Cho will lead Fortinet South Korea's overall operations and be responsible for expanding the vendor's business in the country. His immediate priorities include driving the penetration of Fortinet's broad product portfolio to financial services institutions, government agencies, telcos and large enterprises, as well as strengthening Fortinet's relations with channel partners.
Mr. Cho has 23 years of experience in the security and networking industry. Most recently, he worked for mobile security firm inBay Technologies as its sales and business development director for Asia Pacific and Greater Toronto. His achievements included the development of OEM partnerships with leading mobile manufacturers like Samsung and Blackberry, and the creation of sales and marketing channels in North Asia.
Prior to inBay Technologies, Mr. Cho was country manager for Check Point Software Technologies in South Korea, where he rejuvenated the channel to boost revenue growth. Mr. Cho has also held senior sales and marketing positions in BT and Huawei-3Com.
