We understand how critical it is to continue operations during a crisis. We want you to know that at this important time you can count on Fortinet to take appropriate steps to be there to support and protect your business.

In addition to updating you on our top priority of taking proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners, I want to emphasize our commitment to supporting secure teleworker solutions that can be rapidly implemented – with no incremental cost – to help your organizations.

Like all companies, we are closely monitoring the (COVID-19) outbreak. We are following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and international and local health authorities in countries where we operate. Our goal is to meet our collective responsibility to do our part to protect the health of everyone in the Fortinet ecosystem and reduce the risk that anyone might contract or inadvertently spread the virus. We have taken – and will continue to take – proactive measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19. These include, preventative sanitization measures at all Fortinet sites, implementing a remote worker policy for many locations around the world according to local order guidelines, as well as many other cautionary steps.

And we have implemented measures designed to help ensure business continuity across all of Fortinet’s functional teams, including manufacturing and support.

We are committed to helping our customers quickly transition to an effective and secure teleworker strategy of their own without incremental costs.

  • All deployed FortiGate security platforms already include the technologies and tools customers need to rapidly establish a secure teleworker solution.
  • Our FortiClient VPN solution is available free of charge to ensure remote workers have fast and secure network access.
  • Fortinet’s NSE training program provides essential cybersecurity knowledge for employees as they begin to work remotely and many courses are available free of charge online to partners and now customers.
  • Our technical teams are available to provide IT teams with additional support or resources they may need.

The public health situation that we all face is dynamic. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take additional actions to support updated best practices and guidance from relevant authorities.
