A Fast-paced, Hands-on Competition
What is the Ultimate Fabric Challenge?
The Ultimate Fabric Challenge is an eSports skills competition, based on a series of cybersecurity challenges. To succeed, players must use their skills with Fortinet products to solve objectives in a set amount of time, with bonus points available for the fastest times throughout. Previous challenges include objectives related to SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SASE, Incident Response, Operational Technology (OT), Central Management, and more.
A Virtual World
Players are dropped into a virtual world (“the customer site”), where they will explore the environment to uncover the objectives. Each player has a self-contained virtual environment representing the customer network, where they will complete the objectives.
The challenge is a fast-paced, hands-on competition where you will be competing head-to-head with the best Fortinet users worldwide.
Coming to an Xperts Event Near You!
Throughout the year, the Ultimate Fabric Challenge qualifying rounds are held at the regional Fortinet Xperts Events globally. The qualifying rounds are split into 2 tiers:
- In the 1st round, challengers will form teams of 2 players, to compete against other teams. The top 10 teams (20 players) will move onto the 2nd round.
- In the 2nd round, players will compete individually. The top 3 will receive medals, and the top 10 will be invited to the Global Championship, held each year at the global Fortinet Accelerate conference.

The Global Championship
The best of the best (top 10 from each region) are exclusively invited to compete in the global championship, held during the Fortinet Accelerate global conference. Aside from bragging rights, the top 3 winners receive cash prizes and are awarded on-stage to represent their company.
