Franciscan Health provides faith-based integrated healthcare in Indiana and Illinois across 14 hospitals and 350 satellite healthcare locations. For asset inventory and to better track its disparate devices, Franciscan Health turned to Fortinet Fabric-Ready Partner, Ordr, whose Ordr Systems Control Engine (SCE) solution discovers and classifies every connected device then profiles each device’s behavior and risks. The solution affords visibility into the risk profile of every device on the network. It integrates tightly with FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) via open application programming interfaces (APIs). The NGFWs offer microsegmentation across the network. The healthcare provider’s latest initiative involves the FortiNAC network access control solution, which provides more granular access policies. In the end, the Ordr and Fortinet solutions help Franciscan Health prioritize its IT staff time and stay ahead of security threats through enhanced visibility.
