Burger King Brazil Adopts Secure SD-WAN to Improve Connectivity and Security
With more than 800 stores, Burger King Brazil has experienced recent growth and sought solutions to protect critical customer data, improve visibility and network control, and secure their internal database. The franchise rolled out FortiGate Secure SD-WAN for secure connections and to reduce the costs of internet connectivity. It also met the high availability demands of Burger King Brazil’s operations technology (OT) team and has helped reduce connectivity incidents. Additionally, a FortiManager deployment helped unify security management of the entire infrastructure with a single pane of glass.
Due to a smooth and simple initial deployment phase, Burger King Brazil has sought out additional Fortinet solutions to expand their security services. The plan is to eventually add FortiClient to bolster antivirus and optimize web application configurations for corporate and restaurant networks. Other plans include implementing FortiGate next-generation firewalls and FortiWeb for application control at all locations.
