FortiGate Platforms for Large Enterprises and Service Providers
The Fortinet network security solution for large enterprises and service providers includes the FortiGate-5000 Series, the FortiGate-3000 Series, and the FortiGate-1000A Series enterprise network security platforms. Each FortiGate platform delivers best-of-breed, network level threat and content level threat protection. FortiGate platforms provide essential network defenses that keep networks running smoothly and securely by integrating enterprise firewall, Virtual Private Network (VPN), intrusion prevention, antivirus/antimalware, Web Filtering, antispam and application control features. FortiGate platforms can be deployed with one security service active in conjunction with existing security systems, with all network security services enabled or with any mix of security services active in between. FortiGate-5000 Series
FortiGate-5000 systems are a family of chassis based and modular systems that provide high levels of multi-gigabit network performance, while also delivering carrier-class stability resulting in effective network-based security for very large networks. With three chassis models of varying capacity and an ever expanding array of network security modules that enable security and networking services, large enterprises and service providers can easily grow the capacity of the FortiGate network security system as the business grows or security requirements change. FortiGate-5000 series solutions are ideally suited to providing virtualized security capabilities. Virtual Domain (VDOM) features found in FortiGate systems enable the ability to "divide" a security platform into multiple separately provisioned and managed instances. This allows service providers an effective way to efficiently provision cloud-based security services to customers while reducing the physical space, power and complexity of their network infrastructure.

FortiGate-3810A
The FortiGate-3810A network security appliance is the first standalone security appliance offering optional 10-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. With four AMC expansion slots, the FortiGate-3810A can be customized to meet and grow with performance needs. Up to 26 Gbps firewall performance can be achieved in a full configuration with just a single 2U rack-mount appliance.

FortiGate-1000A and FortiGate-1000AFA2
The FortiGate-1000A network security appliance is a high performance platform that delivers gigabit throughput with high levels of reliability for demanding large enterprise requirements. The FortiGate-1000AFA2 optionally provides two additional fiber interfaces featuring FortiASIC hardware accelerating technology which ensures packet performance is maintained under a variety of conditions. FortiGate-1000A products can be deployed into existing networks with one or all of the FortiOS security features enabled. High Availability (HA) abilities and redundant hot-swappable power supplies help to ensure non-stop operation for mission-critical applications.
