FORTINET WAN MODULE

T1/E1 WAN Connectivity for FortiGate® Multi-Threat Security Systems

The Fortinet ASM-ET4 WAN Module adds up to four (4) full rate T1/E1 wide area network connections to FortiGate-310B multi-threat security appliances. The single width Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) module includes four (4) RJ-48C interfaces, fully integrated internal CSU/DSU hardware, complete integration with FortiGate security inspection hardware, and local/remote configuration and monitoring via FortiOS™ Web-based and command-line interfaces. As mobile services get more sophisticated with the offer of a wide array of multimedia content such as movies and games, our networks get more exposed to viruses and other harmful attacks. Fortinet's carrier-class security platforms provide us with the high performance and scalability we need in terms of quantity of messages we can filter. Also, Fortinet's model of a per-system licensing was very attractive and allowed us to realize a ROI in only five months compared to the cost of our previous solution, which was based on a per-seat license.
