Fortinets strong investment in that territory results from its international expansion strategy and aims at accelerating the penetration of the high-end security market locally.
Building on its success in EMEA, Fortinet has identified the ussian market as a strategic territory for expansion. The security vendor will focus on the growth of its high-end customer base, targeting primarily key segments such as telecommunications, ISP's, Large Enterprises, education and banking.
With local presence, the company aims to be in a strong position to further extend its market share for network security in ussia and, at the same time, offer local support to its fast-growing network of channel partners. Yan Skasyrski joins Fortinet as Country Manager for the CIS region, after 11 years of sales, business development and channel management experience gained at organizations including JIB Group, Marvel Distribution and most recently Hewlett-Packard, where he worked seven years. In his last position at HP, Skasyrski was responsible for channel management of the Enterprise Servers and Storage division.
