Fortinet launches its Gold Club

New Community Aims to Strengthen Business Relationships with EMEA Gold Partners

Sophia Antipolis, France, September 28, 2010 - Fortinet®(NASDAQ : FTNT) - a leading network security provider and the worldwide leader of unified threat management (UTM) solutions today announced the launch of its Gold Club, dedicated to its EMEA Gold resellers. Through that club, Fortinet aims to enhance business relationships with its gold partners across the EMEA region, by providing them with strategies and tools that will facilitate their business.

ÏThe creation of Fortinets Gold Club comes in recognition to the fact that our committed partners are instrumental to our success. It reflects our continued strategy to attract and retain a high-value channel. said Patrice Perche, senior vice president of international sales and support at Fortinet.

On top of the advantages Fortinet gold resellers benefit from within the FortiPartner Program, the Fortinet Gold Club offers new extra benefits including:

  • a Gold Partners dedicated website (www.fortinet-goldclub.com), which will be the central meeting point for the new community and will feature important sales, technical and support information;
  • Training & education sessions designed specifically for the club members, which will be available via webinar series;
  • The participation in the Fortinet Gold Club Forum. Twice a year, Fortinet will host a one-day exclusive event to cover the latest technologies and strategies, and discuss additional sources of revenues with partners. During this forum, Fortinets top executives and gold resellers will have the opportunity to meet to exchange on business experiences and challenges.

The first Fortinet Gold Club Forum will take place on October, 14 2010, at Fortinets EMEA headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France. The theme of this first edition will be ÏFortinet End-to-End Security.

ÏAs a Fortinet Gold partner, we have been benefiting from a strong collaborative relationship, which has helped be successful in addressing the local security market opportunities. We welcome the creation of Fortinets Gold Club Forum as we expect it to help us benefit from a more direct link with Fortinet and, in the end, allow us to be best equipped to meet the evolving customer demands for integrated security solutions in France and internationally, said Stanislas Petit, Manager of Network & Security Services at BT Services.
