SEOUL, Korea - Dec. 29, 2008 - Fortinet^® Korea, the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions, today announced a new free network security checkup service in partnership with one of its MSSP partners, ServOnNet, a specialist IT outsourcing company. This service is currently in progress and will be available from December 2008 up to the end of March 2009.

Complimentary network security consulting service will be made available to all interested customers. Participating companies will receive a comprehensive post-evaluation report on the health of their network security operations. This report will provide customers insight to their networks' specific weaknesses and overall traffic situation. It can also help customers adopt sharper security policies that address the root cause of their pain points during the planning and implementation stages. In addition, Fortinet Korea will also provide additional services such as mock hacking and vulnerability analysis of the customers' database, applications and server networks.

According to Justin Lee, Country Manager of Fortinet Korea, "An extension of Fortinet's customer service strategy, this network assessment offer enables our customers the ability to enhance their network security posture. I am confident that this program will create strong interest among companies looking to better understand and improve their enterprise-wide IT infrastructure."

For the duration of the four-month program, 24-hour monitoring services will be provided to customers. This service will monitor the network security appliances and operations through ServOnNet's managed security service centre. Customers who have enrolled for this complimentary network service with Fortinet will also receive special promotional rates when strengthening their security efforts with Fortinet's solutions.

This program is also timed in support the recent launch of Fortinet security products, including FortiGate-310B, FortiGate-620B, FortiGate-5001A and FortiDB. Customers also have the opportunity to trial Fortinet's comprehensive portfolio of network security solutions.
