SINGAPOE, November 05, 2010 - Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) - a leading network security provider and the worldwide leader of unified threat management (UTM) solutions today announced that, for the third consecutive year, Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. (NYSE: CHT) has selected Fortinets network security appliances to extend its managed security service (MSS) offering for both Chunghwa Telecoms and HiNets customers. Thanks to our consolidated security approach, the FortiGate product line has become their preferred UTM solution for their managed security service offering, said Spencer Chen, country manager for Fortinet in Taiwan. ÏIn order to build a successful and profitable business model, MSSPs have to look closely at their deployment and management costs. Fortinet's broad security platform meets those specific requirements and our collaboration with Chunghwa Telecom further emphasizes our value proposition to simplify security and maximize return on investment to customers.
