(NYSE: CHT) has selected Fortinets network security appliances to extend its managed security service (MSS) offering for both Chunghwa Telecoms and HiNets customers. The FortiGate® -50B and FortiGate-80C appliances will be used as optional customer premise equipment. Chunghwa Telecom will also provide the consolidated security solution to its existing and new broadband services customers.
